Yassine Agrebi is an electrician and light artist. He has been participating in artistic productions since 2018, working with INTERFERENCE and See Djerba as a member of the production team.
Working as an electrician, Yassine has the space to explore, learn and grow. Ever since he was 11 years old, electricity was his way of nurturing his growing interest in electricity and light. For his artworks, he works with material from his workshop like wires, tubes, LEDs, and other electronics and he combines them with UV light and fluorescent paint.
Through his artwork, Yassine aspires to connect himself, the community, and the avid visitors by reminding them of our shared experiences, and our shared living. He keeps going back to explore the duality between past and present and the need to belong, share and connect.
