Maher Meriah

Maher is an architect and curator, currently working as an editor at inkyfada.

An architect in the making, currently working as a journalistic translator and editor for investigative and independent media in Tunisia, Maher has been part of the making of INTERFERENCE and SEE DJERBA festivals as a junior curator during their first two editions. He has also participated in the first training cycle of the YMP as a junior curator, co-heading a team of young emerging audiovisual artists into their first public exhibition. As disparate as his professional itinerary may seem, engaging in facilitating self-expression for those who have something to say – through art, media, or political engagement – has been Maher’s life-guiding principle.
