Nicolás is a media artist exploring natural and digital textures.
After a fruitful career working as an audiovisual designer, Nicolás shifted his practice to the media art field, focusing on projects that explore the interaction between time, space, video, light, and sound. His work is composed of installations, live sets, light pieces, digital scenographies, among others.
His practice is triggered by the contemplation and exploration of nature and landscape. His work, composed of installations, live sets, light pieces, digital scenographies is the result of his curiosity and continuous research on the limits of material and virtual realities, nature and artifice, light and darkness.
Exploring a poetic-visual language, his pieces attempt to open up a moment and a timeframe where our sensorial perception leads us to reflect on and raise questions related to these binomials.
He lives in Buenos Aires (ar) and Blanca (es), as part of the AADK Spain team, an Artist-run platform for contemporary creation.
